23. Setting the resolution manually ? - in Linux [original thread]
There is no human readable file you can edit to change the resolution. If you are using the Official Linux Client, you can change the resolution in the Configure tool. If you are using Wine, an easy way to change the resolution is to run EVE thi...

24. Ps3 + linux = eve - in Linux [original thread]
It will probably never be possible for 2 reasons: 1) As was already stated, the PS3 has a PowerPC architecture. The only way to get EVE (designed to run on x86 processors) to even get to a point where it can (and will) crash is to use a full x86 ...

26. Someone is able to change resolution in windowed mode? - in Linux [original thread]
The way the Official Client handles resolutions is odd. IIRC, you have to set EVE to run in full screen mode always, and you can then set it to windowed mode via the Configuration tool and change the resolution there. That is the only supported me...

Are you using the official client or Wine? What you are describing sounds common with missing the Windows fonts in your Wine directory. Install the package 'msttcorefonts' and copy or symlink the font files (found in '/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ms...

31. It almost works!!! Sooo very close.. - in Linux [original thread]
Originally by: NightKhaos It is these optimizations that we pay TransGamming for. I generally find that Wine has better performance and stability than Cedega when EVE is concerned. That said, while Wine might have a leg up on technolog...
